In 1944, Gunther Rall (flying the Messersmidt Me-109G) encountered a USAAF squadron known as "Zemke's Wolfpack". After bouncing two P-47's of the 56th Fighter Group, Rall soon found himself overwhelmed when the remainder of the 56th showed up in force. This print is signed by Gunter Rall, who finished the war with 275 victories. It is also signed by Gabby Gabreski (P-47 pilot and top American Ace of the ETO), and Shorty Rankin (P-47 pilot, and member of the 56th Fighter Group - on this mission he would shoot down 5 Me-109's).
